Community Curriculum

Welcome to the Community Curriculum page.

Reverend Liesbeth, Christine Ward & Sue France are regular visitors in school to take assemblies and the children attend both St. Andrew's & the Methodist Church throughout the year for Easter, Remembrance & Christmas services. Year 6 also attend a Leaver's service every year.

Harvest Festival is usually celebrated in school and food parcels are then distributed to the elderly folk in the village.

The children take part in many peninsula sporting events throughout the year such as football, basketball, cricket, netball, tag rugby and swimming.

Each year the school puts on a Christmas production and members of the community are invited to come and see the children perform.

Throughout the year we use the swimming pool at The Ipswich Girls School in Woolverstone for swimming lessons every week. Each class will get approximately a 7 week block of lessons. The school heavily subsidises this and we only ask for a £10 contribution towards the cost.  Swimming lessons for this coming academic year will be on Friday mornings.  A letter is sent home to each class before their block of lessons begin explaining the details.
