All pupils from Cygnet and Melissa classes (EYFS, Y1 and Y2) enjoyed a wonderful woodland walk to the river this morning. As keen nature detectives, children spotted signs of autumn and noticed spiderwebs with drops of dew, a wide variety of berries and found many leaf varieties along the way.  Listening out for birds, we were lucky enough to hear a goldcrest, a robin and a blackbird. 

Mrs Hopkinson opened the doors of the sailing club where we enjoyed a snack and a drink before we headed back to school to examine what we had collected on the way and, of course, lunch time.
