At Chelmondiston Church of England Primary School, we strive to ensure that all children feel happy, safe, secure and truly valued as individuals in our school family. Our vibrant and exciting curriculum embraces the community in which we are situated, recognising local history, heritage, geography and, most importantly, the aspirations of all our children.  High quality learning opportunities enable our children to thrive, providing them with the necessary experiences and skills to achieve their full potential. We have exceptional school grounds and frequently take learning outside.

Our school values provide a nurturing approach to developing the whole child, instilling in our pupils a love of learning that extends beyond their primary years, equipping them with the skills for their future and developing them as creative, responsible and self-aware individuals.

It is important for us to work closely with all members of the community - children, parents/carers, staff, governors, the church, and friends of the school. The school has a very active Governing Body, which meets regularly to discuss strategic issues about the safe and effective leadership of the school and are actively involved in school life and in monitoring and supporting our teaching. The church and school work closely together, focusing on the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of all members of the school community. Daily acts of worship and sharing assemblies are important for sustaining and developing the ethos of the school.

We are proud to be a part of the St Edmundsbury and Ipswich Diocesan Multi Academy Trust, which is a growing, vibrant and exciting group of schools.  Please see the link to their website below.

If you would like to find out more about our school, please do not hesitate to contact us via the school office.
