Wraparound care - Early and Late Bird Club

We have a fantastic before and after school club which is to support working parents/carers and for children who want to socialise and engage in exciting activities before and after school. 

Our Early Bird Club from 8am, is run by Mrs Painter and offers a well-supervised and structured environment as well as an opportunity for children to settle in school and play with friends. Not only does it support working families, it is also attended by pupils who want to play in a friendly and relaxed environment before school.  At 8:45 children go straight to class to begin lessons.

Our Late Bird Club from 3.15pm - 5pm is run by Miss C. Harvey on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Mrs Skirrow on Thursdays and Fridays.  After school sessions include physical activity (e.g. playing a game or building a den outside) as well as creative play and/or crafts (e.g. role play, painting, cooking, themed activities linked to celebrations through out the year). The charge for attending Early Bird is £2.00 per child per session.  

The charge for attending Late Bird is £4.00 per child per session. If your child only attends until 4pm or attends after a sport club from 4.20pm to 5pm, this cost is reduced to £2.00 per child. 

Payment for both clubs is required in advance.  Entry will not be permitted without payment.  Please pay online using our new system through SchoolComms; simply download the School Gateway App. You can pay daily, weekly, half termly or termly. 

We require a full 24 hours' notice if you want to book places for your child/ren to attend either club and by the end of the school day on a Friday if you need them to attend the following Monday.  Places can be limited, as we need to ensure we have the correct child/staff ratio.
