Year 5 pupils enjoyed learning how to ride their bikes safely - each group had two full days of instruction, gradually building their skills and knowledge. Children were told how to check their bikes, how to signal, where to place themselves on the road when cycling and to be aware of other road users at all times. These are all essential life skills that will enable our pupils to become confident and competent cyclists as they become more independent and enjoy the sense of freedom and fun that riding a bike offers.  To recognise their achievements, pupils were awarded with a certificate, a special information booklet about road safety and a badge. Well done, Year 5!
